AI Product Video Generator

A product video has to do two things at once: make the object look desirable and keep it recognizable. That is why a clean source photo matters more than a long prompt. The model can add light, motion, and atmosphere, but it should not redesign the label or change the shape of the product.

This workflow starts from a product still. Upload a clean shot on a simple background, describe one camera move and one lighting idea, and generate a short clip for a product page, a paid social ad, or a marketplace listing.

Start with a photo that already looks like the product

Use a sharp, evenly lit image with the product centered and the label facing the camera. Remove clutter and avoid heavy shadows. If the source photo is blurry or the label is at an angle, the generated clip will inherit those problems. A simple packshot is a better starting point than a lifestyle photo with a busy background.

Add one premium cue, not five

A slow orbit, a light sweep, or a small amount of mist is enough to make a product feel considered. Combining a rotating pedestal, splashing water, floating petals, and a moving camera usually makes the product harder to read. Pick one cue that fits the category and keep the product itself still and sharp.

Prompt recipe

A premium skincare bottle on a rotating pedestal, soft studio lighting, fine water droplets and subtle mist, slow 180-degree orbit, realistic reflections, clean beige background, luxury commercial product video, product shape and label unchanged, no text overlay, no watermark.

Replace the bottle and the background with your product. Keep the slow orbit and the soft studio light; those two choices make a packshot feel like an ad without changing the product.

How this workflow works

1

Start from the right mode

The page opens the workspace in text-to-video, image-to-video, or reference-to-video mode. That choice decides whether the model starts from words, a still image, or a set of references.

2

Keep the starter prompt or rewrite it

The loaded prompt describes a subject, a camera move, lighting, and a visual style. Replace the subject and setting with your own, but keep the structure so the model still has clear direction.

3

Review the first clip before scaling

Generate one short clip, check the motion and subject consistency, then adjust one variable at a time. Once the look is stable, reuse the prompt with new subjects instead of starting from zero.

Why creators use HappyHorse for this job

The tool stays on the page

You do not have to read a guide, open another tab, and guess which controls matter. The workflow is already configured and the generator is directly below the explanation.

Short clips are cheaper to iterate

A 4 to 15 second shot is enough to judge motion, framing, and subject consistency. Iterate on a short clip first, then generate the final shot with the settings you trust.

One workspace for words, stills, and references

Text, image, and reference workflows share the same task history and controls, so you can move from a still-led shot to a reference-led shot without learning a second product.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about the workflow, the inputs, and what to expect from a first generation.

Can I animate a product photo?

Yes. Upload a clean product image or paste a public image URL, choose image-to-video, and describe the camera move and lighting. A centered packshot gives the most predictable result.

Will the label or shape change?

Any image-to-video model can alter fine details. Use a clean source image, keep the motion simple, and review the clip before publishing. For packaging with regulated text, a studio shoot still gives you the most control.

What aspect ratios should I use?

Use 1:1 for marketplace listings, 9:16 for Stories and Reels, and 16:9 for product pages and YouTube. The workspace lets you change the ratio before generating.

Can I make multiple ad variants?

Yes. Keep the source photo and change one variable at a time: camera move, background, or lighting. That gives you comparable variants instead of a set of unrelated clips.
